Tomes joins Turning Point USA's USI chapter in recognizing the anniversary of 9/11
TOMES JOINS TURNING POINT USA'S USI CHAPTER IN RECOGNIZING THE ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11: State Sen. Jim Tomes (R-Wadesville) joins members of Turning Point USA's University of Southern Indiana chapter as they commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
During the event, they heard from speaker Paul Lindberg, a retired United States Marine of over 20 years who served in Special Operations Command, as he shared his comments on what happened that fateful day.
"I am honored to have been invited by these students to recognize and remember the lives lost during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001," Tomes said. "It was also meaningful to hear from one of many Americans who felt the call to serve and protect our country after witnessing the events of that tragic day."
