Digital LED billboard trucks take crypto's most talked-about meme coin off the timeline and onto the street in eight major U.S. markets.

— Steven B
PLANTATION , FL, UNITED STATES, September 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Mobile Billboard Global (MBG), the Atlanta-headquartered, nationwide leader in mobile billboard and out-of-home advertising, today announced it has been retained to lead a national out-of-home campaign for A Meme Coin ($MEME), the Robinhood Chain token that went viral last week after a public dispute between AMC Entertainment Holdings and Robinhood Markets.

The campaign puts $MEME where the story started. MBG's fleet of digital LED billboard trucks will roll up to the front doors of AMC Theatre locations in major U.S. markets, running full-motion creative during peak showtimes when foot traffic is heaviest. Between showtimes, the same trucks will run routes through downtown corridors, financial districts, and nightlife zones in each market, giving the campaign a national footprint with a single format.

"Everybody in crypto saw this coin on their phone. Our job is to make sure people see it in real life, standing on the sidewalk outside the theater that inspired it," said Steven B., Founder and CEO of Mobile Billboard Global. "That's the difference between an ad that scrolls by and an ad that people stop, photograph, and post. A truck parked at the front door of an AMC with a 20-foot screen is a piece of content on its own."

The story behind the coin

On September 3, 2026, AMC CEO Adam Aron publicly criticized Robinhood for offering a tokenized version of AMC stock and threatened legal action if the platform did not stop. Robinhood's Chief Legal Officer, Dan Gallagher, refused to back down. Within hours, a new token, A Meme Coin, launched on Robinhood Chain with the ticker $MEME and a branding wink at the AMC name.

The token became one of the most-discussed assets in crypto in a matter of days. According to reporting from TheStreet, one early buyer turned a purchase of under $3,000 into a paper gain of more than $2 million in less than 12 hours. As of this release, CoinMarketCap lists $MEME at a market capitalization of roughly $53 million with more than $20 million in daily trading volume, a fully circulating supply of one billion tokens, and a ranking inside the top 350 cryptocurrencies globally.

"$MEME was born on the internet, but the joke only lands if it shows up in the physical world," said a spokesperson for the $MEME community team. "Mobile Billboard Global gave us a way to do that at scale, in every major market, on a timeline that matches how fast crypto moves. We talked on a Monday and had trucks rolling that week."

Campaign details

The $MEME digital LED truck campaign has three components:

AMC Front-Door Digital LED Truck Tour

MBG's double-sided digital LED billboard trucks will stage on public streets directly outside high-traffic AMC Theatre locations in a rotating schedule of markets. Trucks will run full-motion $MEME creative on 16-by-8-foot LED screens with synchronized audio where permitted, timed to evening and weekend showtimes. Initial markets include:

New York, NY
Los Angeles, CA
Miami, FL
Atlanta, GA
Chicago, IL
Dallas, TX
Las Vegas, NV
Washington, DC

Additional markets will be added based on trading activity, community voting, and local event calendars. The tour is expected to run for a minimum of four weeks, with the option to extend.

National Digital LED Route Coverage

To give the campaign reach beyond the theater curb, each market's LED truck will run scheduled daytime and late-night routes through high-visibility zones, including:

Downtown Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Miami commuter corridors
Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange foot-traffic zone
The Las Vegas Strip, Dallas Uptown, and Chicago's Loop and River North
Select college-town routes where retail crypto participation is highest

Every creative rotation carries a QR code driving to the official $MEME community hub, allowing the campaign to be measured on real-world scans and not just impressions. LED creative can be updated same-day to respond to price moves, news, or community moments.

Impression Tracking and Content Capture

Every MBG truck on the campaign is equipped with GPS route tracking and impression-counting technology, giving the client verified reporting on where the trucks went, how long they were on location, and estimated audience exposure by stop. MBG's field team will also capture photo and video content at each AMC location, produced for immediate distribution across the $MEME community's social channels.

"Crypto marketing budgets usually go straight into influencers and paid social, and everybody's chasing the same eyeballs," Steven B. said. "Out-of-home is the opposite. Nobody can scroll past a billboard truck. And when the truck is parked at the exact spot the meme is about, the community does the rest of the marketing for you."

Why digital LED billboard trucks fit crypto

Digital LED billboard trucks have become one of the fastest-growing channels for digital-asset and fintech brands for several reasons:

Speed. A mobile campaign can be creative-approved, loaded, and on the road in days. Traditional billboard buys often require weeks of lead time, and a meme coin does not have weeks.

Precision. Trucks go where the audience is — outside a specific theater, a specific conference, a specific exchange office — rather than waiting for the audience to drive past a fixed location.

Shareability. LED billboard trucks are consistently among the most-photographed advertising formats. A well-placed truck generates organic social reach that extends far beyond the physical impression.

Flexibility. Creative can be changed in real time on LED units, allowing a campaign to respond to news, price movement, or community moments the same day.

Accountability. GPS logs, dwell-time reports, and QR-scan data give a token community something most crypto marketing never provides: proof of where the money went and what it produced.

The token economy has spent years marketing almost entirely inside the phone: X threads, Telegram groups, paid influencers, and banner placements on crypto news sites. Those channels reach people who are already in crypto. A digital LED truck reaches the person walking out of a 9 p.m. showing who has never opened a wallet, and does it in a way that is impossible to mute, skip, or block. For a community token whose entire value is attention, that is the most direct way to widen the top of the funnel.

The Mobile Billboard Global advantage

MBG did not start in crypto. The company built its fleet and its playbook over years of campaigns for consumer brands, entertainment properties, political organizations, real estate developers, restaurants, sports and concert promoters, product launches, and nonprofits. That range is the point: the same truck that pulls up to an AMC for $MEME has already worked a grand opening, a get-out-the-vote drive, a music festival, and a Fortune 500 product reveal. The operating discipline transfers.

What MBG brings to every campaign:

Owner-operated execution. MBG is a minority-owned business run by the people who built it. Clients deal directly with decision-makers, not account layers. When a plan needs to change at 4 p.m. on a Friday, the person who can approve the change is the person answering the phone.

A true national fleet. MBG operates digital LED trucks out of its Atlanta headquarters and regional hubs in South Florida, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Midwest, with partner capacity that extends coverage to more than 40 U.S. markets. A single contract can put trucks in New York, Miami, and Las Vegas on the same night, with one point of contact and one reporting dashboard.

In-house creative and production. MBG designs and formats LED creative to spec, including motion graphics, resolution mapping for its screens, and audio where local rules allow. Clients can hand over a logo and a sentence and have finished creative on screen within days.

Permitting and route intelligence. Every market has different rules on where a billboard truck can stop, idle, and run audio. MBG's team handles permitting, coordinates with local authorities, and plans routes around traffic patterns, event schedules, and foot-traffic peaks so the screen is seen when it matters, not parked where nobody is.

Verified reporting. MBG trucks carry GPS route tracking and impression-counting technology. Clients receive stop-by-stop reports showing location, time on site, and estimated audience exposure. Combined with QR scans and campaign-specific landing pages, that gives an advertiser a real attribution story.

Content capture as a deliverable. MBG's field teams shoot photo and short-form video at every activation. For a client like $MEME, the content is often as valuable as the impressions: a 15-second clip of a truck outside a packed theater becomes the community's post of the day.

"Most people think of a billboard truck as a screen on wheels," Steven B. said. "We think of it as a media company on wheels. The screen is the product. The route planning, permitting, reporting, and content are the service. That's what a client is actually buying from us."

Expanding the reach of mobile billboards

The $MEME campaign reflects a broader shift in how brands are using MBG's trucks. What began as a local, event-based format has become a national, data-driven channel that brands book the way they book digital media. Recent and ongoing MBG expansions include:

Multi-market national tours. Rather than a single truck in a single city, brands increasingly book synchronized runs across five to ten markets, timed to a launch, a broadcast moment, or a trending story. The $MEME tour is the model: one creative, one calendar, eight cities.

Financial-district and fintech coverage. MBG has seen rising demand from brokerages, exchanges, payment apps, and token communities that want presence around Wall Street, Brickell in Miami, Buckhead in Atlanta, and other financial corridors. The trucks let a fintech brand appear at the physical center of the industry without a fixed billboard lease.

Event and venue targeting. Sports arenas, concert venues, conventions, and theaters are where large, engaged audiences gather at predictable times. MBG's trucks are built to be at the curb when the doors open and when they close.

Political and public-affairs work. MBG's trucks have carried candidate, ballot-measure, and public-service creative across multiple election cycles, including get-out-the-vote and civic-engagement campaigns. The same targeting that puts a truck outside an AMC puts it outside a polling site or a rally.

Community and nonprofit campaigns. Through its affiliated nonprofit, Media For A Better Future Foundation Inc., MBG supports public-service messaging and community initiatives, giving its screens a role beyond commercial advertising.

Regional brands with national ambitions. Mobile Billboard Miami and Mobile Billboard Mid-Atlantic serve South Florida and the Ocean City, Maryland and Delaware beach markets, feeding regional clients into MBG's national network when they are ready to scale.

"We used to get calls from a car dealer who wanted a truck at the mall on Saturday," Steven B. said. "Now we get calls from a token community that wants eight cities lit up by Friday and wants the video back by Saturday morning. The business has changed, and we built the fleet and the systems to change with it."

What advertisers should take from this campaign

For brands watching the $MEME activation, the lessons apply well beyond crypto:

Go to the moment. The strongest out-of-home placement is the one tied to a story people are already talking about. A truck outside an AMC during a Robinhood-AMC feud does more work than the same truck on a random highway.

Make the ad the content. Design activations to be photographed. A truck with a bold screen in a recognizable location produces user-generated content that paid social cannot buy.

Insist on proof. GPS logs, dwell time, impression estimates, and QR scans should be standard. If a mobile billboard vendor cannot show where the truck was and for how long, keep looking.

Book for speed. Mobile is the only out-of-home format that can move as fast as the news cycle. Use that. Hold creative approvals to hours, not weeks.

Not affiliated with AMC or Robinhood

Mobile Billboard Global and A Meme Coin are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. or Robinhood Markets, Inc. All trucks operate on public roadways in compliance with local ordinances and do not enter private theater property. The $MEME token is a community-driven digital asset and is not a security, share, or claim on any company.

Important notice

This press release is an announcement of an advertising services engagement. It is not investment advice and is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any digital asset. Meme coins are highly speculative and volatile. $MEME has traded from an all-time low of roughly $0.0003 to an all-time high of roughly $0.14 within a single week, and its value can fall as quickly as it rises. Anyone considering a digital-asset purchase should do their own research and consult a qualified financial professional. Mobile Billboard Global provides advertising and media services only and does not hold, sell, or promote the token as an investment.
